Hello my name is Josue S. Garcia and I am a 3rd year Electrical Engineer with a focus on product design. Through my time at Sac State I have been involved with MESA and served as the Director of Outreach for SHPE last year. I have a huge heart for community give back and am excited to be able to spear head our events this year as President! Feel free to reach out to me if you’re also interested in Product design as I have had an internship at Cisco and currently work for the City of Sac’s Department of Utilities.

My name is Analaura Gasca, and I am a second-year civil engineering student with a passion for mathematics and design. In addition to my academic pursuits, I have a strong personal interest in astronomy and crafts. I am actively involved in the MESA program and currently serve as the Treasurer for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE). As a proud first-generation student, I am deeply grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given and am committed to giving back to my community.

My name is Joseph A. Muniz. I’m a 3rd year Electrical & Electronic Engineering student focused on power design. At Sac State I have worked as an Orientation leader providing all types of info to New students(Freshman and Transfer). I also have experience with General Education academic advising and experience as an Events Coordinator For SHPE.

Hi, I'm Tano, a third-year Mechanical Engineering major with a passion for materials science and research. Through my time at MESA and my involvement in various clubs at Sacramento State, I have developed a strong interest in pursuing a career in private space programs, such as SpaceX or Blue Origin, focusing on space-bound vehicles. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and working on my motorcycle, taking it out for rides around town when I can. I am excited to step into the role of Director of Membership this year and look forward to helping both new and returning students navigate today's fast-paced and dynamic world.

Hello, my name is David Avila, and I am a first-generation student at Sacramento State, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Currently, I am interning with Dewberry Engineering, where I work in the Water Resources department. My passion for helping others succeed inspired me to take on the role of Director of Outreach for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), where I aim to share the many opportunities SHPE provides. In my free time, I am deeply passionate about cars and love to immerse myself in extensive research, as I could talk about them for days.
